Privacy Policy — Tatya's Attendance

Tatya's Attendance is used by employees of companies that use the Tatya's HR Solutions software (your "employer"). The app lets you punch in/out, see your attendance, and send regularization and leave requests to your employer.

What the app collects

• Employee code and PIN — to sign you in. The PIN is checked against a scrambled (hashed) copy; it is never stored in readable form.
• Selfie photo — taken only when you press Punch In / Punch Out, so your employer can confirm who punched.
• Location (precise) — read only at the moment you punch, and only if you allow it. The app does not track your location in the background.
• Whether a fake-location app is active at the moment of punching.
• Punch time, regularization and leave requests that you submit.
• Your payslips — only if your employer switches this on: the finalized monthly pay figures (earnings, deductions, net pay; bank account shown with its last 4 digits only). No Aadhaar or PAN.
• Documents you choose to send (e.g. Aadhaar, PAN, bank passbook photo) — only when you press "Send documents"; they go to your employer's office computer and are removed from the cloud service once collected.
• Supervisors may record punches for their team members, and approve or reject their requests, from the app.
• A notification token — only if notifications are enabled, so the app can tell you when a request is decided or a payslip is ready.

Where it goes

This data is sent over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection to your employer's own attendance service (hosted on Cloudflare) and then to your employer's office computer, where it becomes part of your attendance and payroll records. Tatya's Apps does not sell, share or use this data for advertising, and has no access to it. The app contains no advertising and no analytics/tracking tools.

How long it is kept

On the cloud service, punches and photos are removed a few days after your employer's office computer has collected them; requests are removed some months after they are decided. Your employer keeps attendance records according to its own policies and the law. Punch photos on the office computer are deleted automatically after 180 days.

Your choices

You can deny camera or location permission; your employer may then not accept punches from the app. To see, correct or delete your data, contact your employer (they control your records). For questions about this app, write to tatyasapps@gmail.com.
